Rare TCG Median: $2.14 Does not currently see play in any format but likely will in the future Will be a popular lord in any casual Dinosaur deck Verdict: Buy

Verdict: Buy

At this card’s current price, I have to recommend buying. One of the most hyped cards in the set, Regisaur was anticipated to be a key part of the curve in a standard Dinosaurs deck. That deck has not panned out yet, but there is reason to believe it will in the future. The premier midrange deck in the format, Temur and 4 color energy, will have its energy cards rotating with the release of Dominaria in a few months, paving the way for a new midrange deck to sit atop the meta. Additionally, with the upcoming release of Rivals of Ixalan, new dinosaurs are sure to be released, giving the deck more options to be more competitive. The card has some casual applications too, but I’m mostly looking at it’s constructed potential here.

Whisperwood was a standard all-star 5 drop played in most green midrange and control decks as a value engine. It went from $13.00 at its peak to <$1.00 after its rotation.

Thragtusk is another synergy based 5 drop that did not reach its full potential until later in its standard life due to the rotation of other decks. Started around $5.00, peaked at $23.00, and is now $2.00 after its rotation.
